Description
Replacing a blower is a fairly easy task. Make sure the power is off. Carefully cut the old ziptie from the outside of the dead blower, ensuring not to damage or cut the material. Undo the zipper at the bottom of your inflatable to access the blower from the rear. Snip the old (red & black) wires close to the old (dead) blower then, trim them back just a little to reveal the wires then join the wires on the new blower using the supplied wire joiner.
Note: You may also need to snip the main power wire as well if it is knotted through the old fan. If so, snip it close to the old blower to leave the cord as long as you can. Undo the knot, then feed that wire through the new fan in a similar fashion and re-tie the knot. The knot is there as a safety precaution to stop you easily pulling the wires apart if you pull on the power cord from the outside. Trim the wires back a little and add them in to the connector. Be sure to test that it works, both blower and LEDs, before fitting the ziptie. Attach all the wires through the supplied connector then turn on the power for no more than 5 seconds. If the blower works and not the LEDs then you need to swap the LED wires around. If the LEDs work and the blower does not work then you need to swap the blower wires around. Be sure the power is off when dealing with swapping wires around.
